Security forces will continue to hunt the remnants of terrorists who invaded Sulu Lahad Datu and confident defeated them in the near term.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said security forces believe the amount militants entrenched in Kampung Tanjung Batu is now less than 50 people.

He said security forces also ignores the published announcement Jamalul Kiram Philippine media that the terrorist group will launch a guerrilla war against Malaysia.

"Jamalul Kiram can say anything. We are about them all out," he said at a joint press conference with Chief of Army An Infantry Division Major General Datuk Ahmad Zaki Mokhtar in Felda Sahabat 16, near here today.

Hamza said the two clashes between security forces and terrorist groups on the 14th day of Hail Operations at 8.05 am and 9.45 am.

Answering questions journalists Philippine television station GMA 7 on the security forces to take advantage of the terrorists after Jamalul Kiram announced ceasefire, Hamza said the first terrorist attack and killing two policemen and wounding three others in a battle in Tanduo village, near here March 1.

"We will not say Jamalul Kiram respect for his followers shot and killed two policemen, while a day earlier he was general cease-fire," he said.

Hamza also said that Malaysia and the Philippines are negotiating on body claims 28 terrorists who were shot dead in the incident of aggression.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Zaki said 12 tanks owned chain types Adnan army arrived in Felda companions to help strengthen the defense, and combating terrorism in Kampung Tanjung Batu.

"Armored car was also intended to provide more effective protection for the security forces in the search area and dominate the area," he said.

In KUALA LUMPUR, Army Chief Gen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said security forces believe the cleaning operation in the village of Tanjung Batu would be completed within two or three days before residents were allowed to return to their homes.

"Operations at Mosquito Creek and Village Tanduo has been completed and is now in the stage of determining the damage caused by the villagers," he told reporters at the ministry here today.

On the Hail Operations, Zulkifeli said security forces can not provide the time period when the operation is over.
