27 detained in the Red Zone


Security forces arrested 27 persons traveling in three boats while in the Red Zone Op Hail in Tigbauan beach near here at 10 this morning.
   
Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Ismail Omar said, which claimed that they want to catch fish on the boat detained each suspect after the security of their presence in the restricted area.
   
"We suspect their presence near the operating location, so we give all of them to the district police headquarters for further investigation Lahad Datu.
   
"Although no weapon was found, I have ordered the Lahad Datu District police investigation to run deep and will take appropriate action if they have links with the intruder," he said in a press conference with Army Chief Gen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin at the headquarters operation Op Hail Felda Sahabat 16, near here today.
   
He said the detention of the total number of those arrested for suspected militants linked to from Sulu up to 106 people, compared to 79 people per night.
  
Following the cleaning operation and to eliminate underway, Ismail advised the public not to enter restricted areas designated as could affect their operations as well as harm is not applicable.
   
53 dead in relation to trespassers who have not taken out of the Red Zone, he said all the militants who shot has not been examined by the Forensic unit due to its location close to where the enemy is and the condition can be life threatening if the team approached.
   
Ismail said that although there are some bodies were taken out, but since last Wednesday attacked Forensic unit ministry had to take more precautionary measures.
   
He said that until now only take pictures Forensic units criminals are killed but not able to carry out investigation and autopsy on the bodies concerned for the purpose of prosecution.
   
After five days of its launch, Op Daulat involving police and army forces managed to kill 53 people militants, while no member of the security forces were reported wounded or killed.
