Sulu intruder refused to surrender

Following the Malaysian security forces attack yesterday morning, followers reported the Sultan of Sulu is still entrenched in Lahad Datu, Sabah reluctance to surrender, but want to switch to guerrilla warfare.

Security forces continued to raid the second day today.

"Prince crown, security forces and many went parajurit voluntarily fought to achieve the dream to get back the rights of our ancestors," said Princess Jacel Kiram, son Jamalul Kiram III, who declared
himself as the Sultan of Sulu, yesterday.

He refers to his uncle Agbimuddin which is dubbed as the young king or crown prince who led a group of intruders in Sabah.

"What we can afford right now is praying to Allah Almighty to protect our citizens now in Lahad Datu, Semporna, Kunak, Sandakan and throughout the state," he was quoted Philippine Star.

He added, Agbimuddin itself will continue to fight for the claim and resolve it peacefully.

Spokesman of the Sultanate of Sulu, Abraham Idjirani also disclosed that Agbimuddin protected against the Malaysian authorities.

"Young King and the army, we are still alive and they are safe. The last time I contacted him was at 2.30 pm yesterday, "he said.

Added, Agbimuddin and his followers leave their fortress after being attacked by the Malaysian authorities.

At the same time, Idjirani also denied having a relationship with the opposition leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"We do not know who Anwar Ibrahim," he said.
