LTdL: Anuar focus the final stage tomorrow looking for victory


Sprint cycling champion national highways, Anuar Manan disappointed that still did not win the stage or podium victory in cycling's premier race tour in Asia, Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL).

"Today I can not be disappointed again because victory podium. I feel quite tired even during're approaching the finish line.

"About a mile before the finish, a few riders crashed. I caught a little bit of good luck stroke but I did not stop and continued to paddle," said the birth Kuala Ibai, Terengganu.

According to the 27-year-old rider he now just wants to do his best only in the final stage tomorrow.

"To find the acceleration of the points in this category, I can not beat (Andrea) Guardini for the blue jersey. Francesco Chicchi was already adds points to be in second place.

"I would desperately try to defend the position of third place in the rankings (Sprint King)," he said.

After nine stages, Maher ranks third sprint category by collecting 66 points, while Guardini and Chicchi each collecting 86 and 81 points.

According to Maher, he felt quite tired to get extra points in three zones located in Jerteh acceleration, Queen and Tong River.

Synergy-Baku team riders Cycling Project was finished in the 10 best riders competing ninth stage from Pasir Puteh, Kelantan to Ajil far 123.60km.

He finished in seventh place, behind young riders from France, Bryan Coquard from Europcar team.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Othman adiq Hussainie, representing Team Champion System, Malaysia remains the best rider overall after accumulating 32'26: 12s after nine stages.

Today, the 21-year-old rider improve his position by taking a ladder to be in place to 28th overall, 12 minutes and nine seconds behind yellow jersey holder, Julian David Arredondo Moreno of Team Nippo-De Rosa.
