2 commandos, 12 members of the deadly invaders in Lahad Datu Conflict
Two members of the Royal Malaysia Police commandos were killed and 12 armed invaders in the southern Philippines killed in shootings involving both parties in the village Tanduo here today.
Scene about 10 o'clock that morning also caused three other members of the security forces were injured, police said.

Speaking at a press conference here, he said the shootings between the security forces and the invaders that lasted for 20 minutes.
Recalling the incident, Hamza said the group of foreign invaders first people fired on security forces Malaysia.
"The police commandos had opened fire in self defense and clashes between the two parties," said Hamza.
Hamza said, were found in small groups of intruders were some among M16 barrel guns, pistols and rifles SLR, ammunition and clothing bags.
He said police have surrounded the village Tanduo, which is still occupied by some members of the group, and security in the area tightened.
"The police have control of all routing and difficult for the intruder to get out or in the village," he said.
Hamza also denied published reports including social sites and foreign news agencies that are members of the invaders surrendered and fled by sea.
In the meantime, Hamza also asserted that the police did not issue any instructions curfew in Lahad Datu in the incident.
"I am authorized to execute the order and no order has been issued, as reported," she said, adding that the situation in the village is now under control and calm Tanduo.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had said that he had given a mandate to the national police chief and commander of the armed forces to take action against the armed intruders, and no further compromise.
Najib also said the aggressors should accept the offer to surrender and come out of that area as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the second victim killed policemen were brought to Lahad Datu Hospital. Two policemen were injured were flown to the same hospital for treatment while another was flown to a hospital in Sandakan.
Security forces surrounded the village started Tanduo on 11 February when about 150 men dressed in military style and boat armed choppers intruded into the area on Feb. 9 and make a number of premises, including homes and prayer at the village as their base.
Tanduo the occupied village group located in remote areas, about 130 kilometers from Lahad Datu.
The group allegedly headed Kiram Agbimuddin claimed they were soldiers 'King of Sulu' and demanded Malaysia Sabah recognize as belonging to the Sultanate of Sulu.
Since then, Malaysia held a series of talks and set last February 22 as the deadline for their eviction.
Malaysia however prolong their expulsion pending a February 26 ship Philippine troops arrived to bring the intruder returned to their homeland.
Monday, Hamza said police will act based on national law after taking into account various factors for aggression demystifies the Filipino people.
Hamza insisted he would use the law to prosecute those who are now under siege by security to ensure nothing is missed out and no unauthorized people from entering the area.
