Twitter account hacked


A total of 250,000 reported hacked Twitter account on Monday once it is seen as the latest high-profile security disruptions to the Internet.

Twitter security information director, Bob Lord said, hackers managed to break into more than 200,000 social media accounts including user name, email address and password.

"Twitter also detects some intrusion attempts involving consumer data," he said.

Two weeks ago, a number of leading companies including Apple and Mozilla have to close their Java services to reduce the risk of been hacked.

Lord said Twitter users facing this problem should correct the password before access is given as usual. - Al-Jazeera
