Honda introduces five new models
Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd will launch five new models this year in a bid to strengthen its dominance in the domestic vehicle market.
It is understood, two models are expected to be launched in the near future is the new CR-Z hybrid new look that will be fully imported (CBU) and sport utility vehicles (SUVs), the new CR-V local assembly (CKD).

Head of marketing, Akkbar Danial, said of the five new models to be launched, three is the CKD version, focused on hybrid cars and gasoline, which is popular crowd.
He said the company is looking to launch a new model every quarter in 2013 in order to help achieve the sales target of 64.000 units for the year.
"I can not reveal the details of the model but what I can say is that the model can provide a large amount of sales to Honda this year.
"Basically some neighboring countries have started to introduce the new models and their distance from Malaysia to introduce the model," he said when met BH in Kuala Lumpur recently.
At a press conference last week, Honda Malaysia announced aggressive targets to double its vehicle sales in the country to 64.000 units this year compared to only 34.947 units last year.
The company also set 3S network expansion plan in the country to 90 branches across the country in the next three years compared with 61 branches now.
Meanwhile, Akkbar said aggressive sales target for 2013 will also be driven hybrid car segments thus helping the company to maintain its position as the leader of the types of vehicle sales in the domestic market.
