Ramez denies scandal involved the match program
Selangor import defense pillar, Ramez Dayoub, yesterday denied involvement in the match-fixing scandal and will submit the case to a lawyer to clear your name and reputation as a professional footballer.
Ramez also described the affair is more a personal attack and not standing still dragging Lebanon Football Association (LFA) to justice.
He would also refer the case to the International Football Federation (FIFA).
"I want justice for this case give a bad impression on my career as a professional footballer. They (LFA) accused and sentenced them to me without any evidence, "he said yesterday.
BH Sports today reported Ramez banned for life by the LFA or the match-fixing allegations.
Ramez addition, another Lebanese player who played in Southeast Asia, Mohamed Al-Ali from Indonesia club, Persiba Balikpapan also banned for life, while the other two were suspended three seasons and 20 players were suspended a season.
The sentence was announced LFA Investigations Committee Chairman, Fadi Zureikat who also holds the position of Secretary General of the West Asian Football Federation.
Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad, said Selangor can not use the services of the player either Malaysian League (Liga M) and the AFC Cup.
"Follow the rules of FIFA, the suspended players will not be allowed to play for the team they represent. So the state also no longer use the services of the player, "he said when contacted yesterday.
