McLaren driver Jenson Button (pictured) recorded the fastest time on the first day of pre-season test session Formula One (F1) in 2013 at the Jerez circuit, Spain yesterday.
Edition of 2009 world champion managed to overcome the problems experienced machinery in the morning test session, recording speed 1 minute 18,861 seconds in the afternoon in the 34th round.
"It was a day of rise and fall for McLaren. We had a problem and I hope we will overcome this week.
"But we have to be careful because of all this testing session did not provide any information included in the final test in Barcelona on 3 March," said Button.
Meanwhile, Red Bull's Mark Webber gave a positive indication to the team on completing a test session of 73 laps on Saturday with the second fastest record.
"Notes 1:18.8 s on the first day test session can be considered good for me," said Webber.
Lotus driver, Romain Grosjean emerged as the third fastest driver, followed by Paul di Resta from Force India in fourth.
Daniel Ricciardo who play for Toro Rosso test session with an excellent start in the morning before acquiesce in fifth place in the afternoon session.
New Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton could not perform the test session after machinery teammate Nico Rosberg burn.
