Le Tour de Langkawi 2013 broadcast in high definition


Host broadcaster race Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2013, Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) will use broadcast high-definition (HD) to improve the quality of the live broadcast of the race.

"This year, the RTM release form promising varieties with HD. With existing broadcast facility, RTM will provide an HD OB van and MCP LTdL HD to live, "said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Kamaruddin Siaraf.

He said this in his speech as the host broadcaster RTM announcement LTdL 2013 at Auditorium P. Ramlee, Angkasapuri yesterday.

Also present were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Datuk Mohid Mohamed, Director General of Broadcasting Datuk Norhyati Ismail and Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Le Tour de Langkawi, Emir Abdul Jalal.

According to Kamaruddin, besides broadcasting through television, RTM also for the first time gave a wide coverage LTdL race through the radio network, the National FM and Fun FM.

RTM will broadcast the race live LTdL begins Feb. 20 to March 2 and the summary will be published daily starting on 21 February to 2 March

Meanwhile, Mohid said cooperation between KBS with MICC through RTM hoped to have the opportunity to see the rural population cycling champion from Malaysia and abroad competing in the race.

"With the coverage by the RTM, I hope the fans of cycling, especially in states that do not go through the race LTdL able to watch and feel the heat of the race." LTdL 18th edition organized the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (PKBM).
