Zulfahmi satisfied with sixth place

Package machinery Moto3 class world champion team, Red Bull KTM Ajo rider decidedly not disappoint Zulfahmi Khairuddin upon successful completion opener Grand Prix Losail, Qatar in sixth place reiterating achievements last season.

Although plagued lackluster pre-season testing and only started in the 11th in the first race of the season, the birth riders Banting, Selangor, successfully demonstrated steady rides to overtake the riders in front of him one by one before clinching sixth position.

Zulfahmi effort to maintain that position, however, a great challenge Miguel Oliveira of Mahindra Racing team, but the 21 years old Oliveira was ultimately a bit overcome when it crossed the finish line.

"I am very satisfied with this race. Teammates working hard throughout the week.

"During the free practice sessions, we have to work hard and I did the same thing at the start of this race.

"I was passed a few riders but managed to catch back up to sixth position," he said.

Zulfahmi however a bit disappointed for failing to catch the front group who joined the race winner, who is also his teammate Luis Salom.

"Anyway, I'm still happy with the result in the first race and hope to showcase rides better at the next race in Austin (United States)," he said.

Meanwhile, team manager Aki Ajo was relieved with the results achieved Zulfahmi and another teammate Arthur Sissis after a difficult period before the actual race.

"Zulfahmi and Sissis back to top form and it is very important to us," he said.

Zulfahmi also won finishing sixth in last season's opener in Qatar, who witnessed strong start last season to finish seventh in the best position.
