Customs Chief Deputy shot dead

Deputy Director General of Customs (Customs / Tax) was gunned down as he walked into his office in Putrajaya today.
    
Shaharuddin grandfather Ibrahim, 58, who lives in Dengkil, Selangor, was pronounced dead at the Putrajaya Hospital at 9.20 am.
    
Head of the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department Datuk Ku Chin Wah said two men on a motorcycle fired three shots when the car carrying Shaharuddin stop at the traffic light junction of Highways to Lebuh Sentosa Vision at 8.15 am.
    
"Shot it about the neck up and rushed to the Putrajaya Hospital Shaharuddin by the driver," he told reporters when met at the scene.
    
Ku said the police investigation found Shaharuddin shot automatic pistol.
    
Police will examine all the evidence, including closed-circuit cameras in the area, he said while asking people who have information about the incident to contact the nearest police station.
