No Malaysians reportedly involved in bombings during the run the Boston Marathon in Massachusetts, USA.
   
The Foreign Ministry statement today said the ministry was monitoring the progress of the event and will inform its development from time to time.

In the incident at 3 pm Monday local time, two bombs exploded not far from the finish line of Boston Marathon running events, followed by a second explosion occurred 10 seconds later resulted in three deaths, 134 injured, with 17 people in critical condition and 25 others were injured seriously .
   
According to the Foreign Ministry, early reports indicate bombers using small tools and no signs of high-grade explosives used.
   
"Local police initially reported a third explosion occurred at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, but then states that it is related to the fire. No people were injured in the library," the ministry said.
