Guan Eng delivered the official car

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng together 10 state executive councilors submit their official vehicles to the Secretary of State (Secretary), Datuk Darus following the dissolution Dun Farizan Friday.

Besides Guan Eng and 10 other executive council to do likewise is political secretary Ng Wei Aik bringing the total to 12 official vehicles delivered to Farizan.

"Submission of an official vehicle key also includes Deputy Chief Minister I and II as well as the Deputy Chief Minister and Exco line Political Secretary Chief Minister," he told reporters after handing over the vehicle key official yesterday.

According to him, after the surrender, he and all the executive council will use private vehicles to travel whether for official or campaigning.

"This action shows the integrity we hold even when we only trustee following the dissolution of the recent Dun. The vehicle must be used properly, for formal occasions, not to campaign or
party affairs. We must be honest in the use of official property of the state, "he said.

Guan Eng said, even using his own vehicle, driver and bodyguard services still continue, but only during office hours on duty and on official business.

Responding to media questions on the car will use, Guan Eng said he is likely to borrow from his car following a claim only have two cars.

"Maybe I'll borrow my friend's car the car I used my wife and eldest son. However, this is only a plan, not decided yet.

"I give priority to the child and a wife need a vehicle to deliver and pick up my son," he said.
