Sultan of Perak want political leaders avoid sensitive issues during the campaign

Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah reminded all political party leaders to avoid such sensitive matters incite sentiments of the people during the general election campaign on the 13th of this.
    
His order was communicated through said Regent of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah today at noon a dinner marking the anniversary of the birthday of the 85th Sultan Azlan Shah held at Alexandria Palace here.
    
Raja Nazrin, Sultan Azlan cautioned that all matters affecting the issue of religion, race, culture and language if exploited without a sense of responsibility could affect unity among the people.
    
"He called for his people able to reflect the nature of prudence in order to ensure the survival of a sovereign independent country, prosperous and uphold democracy in a mature and responsible," said Raja Nazrin.
    
Sultan Azlan put faith in the wisdom and experience of various national institutions, especially the Election Commission and security forces to ensure the elections could take place in a smooth, peaceful and serene, he said.
    
Raja Nazrin Shah Sultan Azlan also reminded that peace and order, peace and prosperity is a gift of God which must be kept at all times.
    
Perak Sultan also follow political developments during the General Election and the 13th will take place very soon once again stressed the role of government neutrality and King's throne is not in favor of any political group, he said.
    
"In fact, he stressed the importance of reflecting and showcasing the King government neutrality so that government can act as King arbitrator fair and equitable to help disassemble any conflicts and clutter in the event," said Raja Nazrin.
    
Raja Nazrin also said that the Sultan of Perak who at this point still need to relax convey greetings and express our thanks him and Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Bainun on speeches and prayers by all parties to show his concern for both.
    
"Although the situation still needs to relax, he did not overlook the responsibility of the state to command that day into his birthday is celebrated as a mark of respect for the symbolic role throne and the King government institutions," he said.
    
Meanwhile, the birthday celebration of the 85th Sultan Azlan Shah medium today welcomed a dinner attended by the royal family, government and community leaders, heads of government departments and agencies and non-governmental representatives.
    
It was followed by a religious ceremony and Yasin recital at Masjid Ubudiah here ahead of the Friday prayers.
