FAM: No conspiracy Remove K.Rajagopal

Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) dismissed suggestions that there is a conspiracy to get rid of inner pride head coach Datuk K Rajagobal as reported in the media recently.

FAM today described the statement of the Secretary-General, Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad on Malayan tiger team operator has previously misinterpreted some local media.

The statement said that Azzuddin asked questions by the three English-language newspaper reporter in an interview last week, whether there is a conspiracy to drop Rajagobal internal FAM.

"The Secretary-General is the spontaneous response on every issue, the possibility can not be ignored. Unfortunately this answer is quoted as the main statement published in the press.

"Hence, the FAM would like to clarify that the Secretary-General's statement be misconstrued. Hereby FAM would like to say that there is no internal conspiracy as reported," the statement of the FAM.

Previously, Azzuddin quoted as saying that there was an internal conspiracy to drop Rajagobal FAM.

Rajagobal will face stern action from FAM Disciplinary Committee after the alleged violation of Article 88 of making press statements without permission FAM.

The 56-year-old issued a statement that said the national team's 1-4 defeat to Saudi Arabia on March 17 last at the Shah Alam Stadium, due to dumping of imports in the midst League striker Malaysia.

He allegedly touched FAM policy stating striker imports have a place in the Super League first team squad desolation resulting in a natural striker.
