Sky Duck launched


First amphibious tourist bus in Tokyo began operations yesterday carrying 40 passengers round the roads in the city's east before Naka River Cruise for the 'Air Travel Tokyo' for 100 minutes.

Two bus called 'Sky Ducks' departure from Tokyo's new landmark of Skytree, the world's tallest communications tower with a height of 634 meters. The same amphibian coach was already operating in the western city of Osaka in the country and some other tourist attraction in Japan. Tokyo finally joined other major cities in the world to provide such service, 10 months after Skytree open to the public.
The ticket price is 2.800 yen (RM91) for adults and 1,400 yen (RM45) for children under 12 years of age.

Bus measuring 12 meters long and 2.5 meters wide was traveling at 100 kilometers per hour on land and up to 13 kilometers per hour on the water surface.
