EC regret seeing PR push RTM offer manifesto


Chairman of the Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof regret seeing offer General Election manifesto of the 13th (13th General Elections) rejected by the whole coalition.

Instead he said, offering announced Minister for Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, allowing all political parties to present manifesto through RTM release for 10 minutes, should be examined first.

"They (Pakatan Rakyat) accuse us not give space, hard earned EC to all political parties so that policy can be heard and seen those people.

"... was right called 10 minutes, but details of the conditions we have not received yet, maybe 10 minutes over and over again, but we basically get the space for them to talk, "he said at a press conference here today.

Yesterday, the PR leadership council unanimously rejected the offer broadcast for 10 minutes.

Abdul Aziz appealed for PR to reconsider the offer that has been undertaken EC and if there is dissatisfaction, they can state that the recommendations can be refined once dismissed their claim that the EC of bias in the media give fair coverage to them throughout the process of campaigning on 13th General Elections .

"The EC plans could once these guidelines from the Ministry of Information, we want to call all political parties.

"... further details have yet to be rejected offhand, although I many times fluctuations to get the broadcast space to them, they should cherish, not less raw, "he said.
