Private investigator P Balasubramaniam Dies

Private investigator P Balasubramaniam, a concern due to the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu seven years ago, died today believed because of heart problems.

Balasubramaniam, better known as PI Bala, died of a heart attack at a clinic in Rawalpindi today.

He was supposed to be the way to Sungai Buloh Hospital from his home in Rawalpindi at about 1:30 this afternoon.

He was expected to undergo heart bypass surgery in three weeks and was released from the hospital Tuesday.

He was returning home a few weeks ago after living abroad since 2008.

Member of Parliament for Subang, R Sivarasa said Balasubramaniam died while being rushed to the Hospital Sg Buloh.

Through his Twitter, he is also a member of the Supreme Council PKR said late better known as PI Bala died of a heart attack.

He said the deceased may be allowed out of the Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) last week suffering from respiratory problems in her home this afternoon.

While he admitted to SJMC weeks ago, he was diagnosed suffering from three vessel blockage and half of his heart stopped beating that forced a break from campaigning ahead of general elections to the 13th (13th General Elections).

He was also an important individual role in the two statutory declarations on the case Altantuyaa.
