In Alliance Seeks Dominant Pas Slam 76 parliamentary seats

Pas are expected to compete at least 76 parliamentary seats in the general election to the 13th (13th General Elections).

Specified number of seats also showed an increase of 10 seats to pass than the previous general election that saw the party contested in 66 parliamentary seats across the country.

Article is ratified by the President Pass, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang by reference that he would stand over one-third of parliamentary seats to ensure that the core of the country's political Passes to replace Umno.

Based on additional seats mentioned that, Abdul Hadi did not rule out the possibility of increase in seats other than 76 units if there is a change in favor of the party at the last minute.

"We have to remember there are parliamentary seats across Malaysia 222. Of that number, I want to tell, insha ALLAH Pas will contest at least 76 seats.

"We are running more than one third of the total parliamentary seats contested nationwide. Allah willing, may be no more (additional seats) if our friends in PR gives more seats for us to compete, "he said while delivering a lecture in Chabang Tiga, here.


In another development, the Marang MP reiterated that any party is not affected by the claim that DAP will lead the country if PR wins the 13th General Elections.

Abdul Hadi said, with the number of seats the party contested, DAP has not qualified to lead the government.

"DAP contested in 50 to 60 seats, and if he can win the 50 seats already, still can not be ruled Malaysia.

"Therefore, take swayed by propaganda Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN). They put the non-Malays in the Malay majority seats 21. Umno has given seats in MCA, MIC and Gerakan, "he said.
