Legislative Assembly (Dun) Negeri Sembilan will stand dissolved itself this Thursday if not dissolved, not tomorrow, says Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan evening.
He said there was confusion involving travel that according to Dun Law Sembilan State Constitution under Article 56 (3) mentions the House will run for five years from the date of the first meeting.
"So it will be removed automatically after unless earlier revoked.
"The problem is how to determine the five-year period began or ended, and the in this case, we use the Interpretation Act 1984 and 1967," he said at a news conference held at his residence here.
According to him, in the act stated, under Section 54 (1) "in computing time for the purposes of Any Written law (a) a period of days from the happening of the Any event or the doing of Any act or thing shall be allowed Deemed to be exclusive of the day on Selatan, the event happened to or the act or thing is done. "
Mohamad said, it means that when calculating the time or date of commencement of any in the act, the day is not counted as a day of events begins, otherwise the next day.
"So in the case of dissolution automatically Dun day of the incident or the day MPs sworn in on 27 March 2008 was counted as the first day of Dun running.
"It is calculated on the following day ie on 28 March 2008. Referring the matter, we will reach the age Dun March 27, 2013 at 12 pm at night and it will be exactly five years and dissolved on March 28, 2013," he said.
He said that after the interim government will be formed and where may the Great, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir want to dissolve Dun pursuant to the State Constitution under Article 56 (2), then the due date is March 27.
