Police admit psy receive SMS death threat


Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi admit that there is a criminal threat against South Korean singer, Park Jae Sang or PSY when present to the state last week.

SMS death threat received by the manager, and the cause of the singer was not present at the event Barisan Nasional leaders 'yee sang' at the Open House 1Malaysia Chinese New Year at Han Chiang College field on Monday.

SMS said: "We have received serious death missing Threats That said Ada Psy for hire will stop at all cost in airport and hotel in Penang. Please INFORM the government to please be Vigilant. The show will go on. Please Help. Thank You ".

"SMS was forwarded to us by 8.30 pm on Feb. 10 last day before arrival Psy to state and we take immediate action to put 11 officers to monitor his safety while in the state," he said.

He said this as a confirmation of the existence of the death threat as alleged Chairman of the Barisan Nasional (BN) state, Teng Chang Yeow.

The claim was however denied by Chief Minister Lim Guang Eng and consider it a statement could spark a political and polemical as described unsafe state visit.

Abdul Rahim said the investigation is being carried out to identify the individuals involved in the case.

"We are collecting information and conducting investigations to identify those involved and I believe we will be able to solve it," he said.

Meanwhile, commenting on the case of two detainees, Hamzani Aaron, 37, and Hisham Abdul Rahman, 39, who still can not be traced after escape when she was brought to the Court Butterworth, January 7 so she said they still continue hunting movement.

"Based on the information received, they are said to be hiding in some areas to avoid the police dragnet and is no longer in the district constituency, previous hideout.

"We continue operations Gelugor effect through cooperation with contingents in other states to track them because we believe they are in another country because they had no access to the border," he said.

Two detainees escaped along with seven other prisoners when brought into Court Butterworth.

In another development, he said they have identified a number of other members of the syndicate selling babies and children and waiting time to prevent them.
