Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the case is a matter for the security authorities that do not require the intervention of outside parties.

Also present was the Director of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) Bukit Aman, Datuk Seri Salleh Mat Rasid; Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib and Commander A Division of the Malaysian Army, Major General Mokhtar Mohd Zaki.

Recently, one of the heirs of the Sultanate of Sulu, Santanina Prophet is quoted as saying the ministry to consider the United States to ask for help to solve their problems.

In a similar development, Khalid said the operation to settle the case invasions is still under the jurisdiction of the police and has not been taken over by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM).

"No such thing ... in fact we have the team together (with ATM) and this remains an internal issue, the police are responsible for this operation, "he said.
Khalid said the situation at the site of the Village Tanduo under control and it was surrounded by tight security authorities to prevent any unauthorized access occurs.

Asked about when he would take action against the Sultanate of Sulu Soldiers declare, he said, it will be done at any time.

"Anytime any time from now ... let us wait, "he said.
