Plunge gambler mine


About 12 feet of gambling daring plunge into the mine to escape after their gambling activities in a forest in the Garden of Peace Home, Bandar Kinrara 6, was raided yesterday.

However, their tactics will not work after a couple of policemen were chasing waterfalls gambler involved before they had surrendered after 30 minutes.

Raid about 4 pm was committed team from Division Secret Societies, Vice and Gambling (D7) Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) Selangor managed to withstand 36 feet of gambling, including 10 locals.

D7 IPK Selangor Chief Deputy Superintendent Rohan Shah Ahmad said, as a result of the raid, police arrested 36-stakes gambler, including a woman, aged between 25 and 60 years.

"We also seized cash RM37, 000 believed to gambling activities, as well as seized six chickens and various other equipment.

"The police investigation revealed that, all they make this forest area as a center of gambling activity over the past month to avoid detection by the authorities," he said here yesterday.

He said intelligence work for a month, police found the gambler will gather in the woods on every Monday.
