Paul Revington wants to resign

Not quite a year national hockey coach Paul Revington (pictured) made a surprise want to put a post he held August last year when his contract still has another three years.

The reason - he can not work and do not want to 'disturbed' youth coach, Muhammad Dharma Raj Abdullah and 1MAS development program director, Lim Chiow Chuan.

In March, arguing Revington Chiow Chuan and even coaches from South Africa's proposed law to Chiow Chuan letter to apologize for what he wrote in an email.

Yesterday, the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) received a letter of resignation via email when this when the national squad in preparation for the championship hunt in the semi-final round of the World League in Johor Bahru, the end of this month.

Simultaneously, a meeting was held at the Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium and Coaching Committee chaired by Manjit Majid Abdullah decided that the main body ready to get rid of Dharma Raj and Chiow Chuan if it can help maintain Revington.

"We are aware of the harassment received Revington. The Committee will propose to the management to get rid of Dharma Raj and Chiow Chuan from their current position.
"We want him to stay, he is doing a good job and we did not have any problem with it.

He was not happy and can not continue to do the job if disturbed, especially involving the national team, "Majid said.

If Revington remain with the decision, former national coach Sarjit Singh will be proposed to take over as interim coach.

The decision was also surprising Director General of the National Sports Council (NSC), Datuk Seri Zolkples Embong. "This is frustrating when Revington able to bring success to the national team. We wait for MHC action, "he said.

MHC will be tabled in a meeting of the Council in Johor Bahru, on June 30 to decide the fate of three individuals.
