Army Sergeant be arrested in seclusion

An army sergeant was grabbed Enforcement Division Johor Religious Department (jaj) after being found seclusion along dark lover in a budget hotel in Simpang Renggam, here, yesterday.

Despite living in Johor Bahru, the men were willing to leave his family home solely to be with the woman who called in the night market, since six months ago.

During the raid, the couple involved wearing only a towel to cover the body thus giving a new reason to enter the hotel room.

"We're just in this room 15 minutes ago. Do not have anything, please let me because I'm already married, has two children.

"Please do not tell my wife because she only knew me to another location with friends and not here," he appealed to the jaj so do not keep him in the raid.

However, the appeals were ignored, and jaj act continued to hold the offense involved the couple were together in a room with unrelated pairs.

Oils Religious Administrative Officer, Mohd Khalil Md Noor said the couple was taken to the police station to report the Simpang Renggam guaranteed arrests before their families.

"They will be charged under section 27 (1) (a) & (b) of the Syariah Criminal Offences Enactment of Johor which leads to a maximum fine of RM3, 000 or two years imprisonment or both.

"The couple were also required to report to the Office of Religious Oils today (yesterday) to take evidence," he said.

Operation involving 10 members of the Enforcement Division jaj Kluang and Batu Pahat began at 11 pm that ended at about 4.30 am.
