Do not blame the Chinese - Saifuddin Abdullah

Chinese Voters be winning factor Barisan Nasional (BN) in the General Election-10 (PRU10) in 1999 and should not blame the people, if not back to support BN in the 13th GE.

Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said the BN indebted to the support of the Chinese voters that BN PRU10 cause.

"I had to make the decision not agree occurrence of 'Chinese tsunami' on 13GE because the matter is not true once in any corner," he said at the post-13GE: Wherever the Malaysian politics, University of Malaya, yesterday.

He said, let's not forget that in 1999, voters do not support BN Malays and Chinese votes to BN's savior.

"Who would forget who? Even BN grateful to the Chinese voters in 1999. It can not all have given people the method of sulk and give thanks. Need to be conscious of and accept the results. This is normal, we saw the face of Malay votes in 1999 and finally we can improve performance "he said.

Saifuddin, who lost in the parliamentary Termerloh said at the 2008 general election, the BN also lost votes from the Indians, but managed to win back the support of at 13GE.
